The Tree House Mental Health Team provides robust training programs for psychology graduate students. Current opportunities include an APPIC member internship program and a yearlong trauma practicum placement.
Internship Program

The Tree House is offering a structured internship program for doctoral psychology students that requires 1 year of full-time training. The position begins July 1, 2020 and ends June 30, 2021. Interns will function primarily as service providers by implementing therapy, assessment, case management, consultation, and advocacy services to children and families.

Practicum Position / Psychology Externship
Students will be involved in phone screenings, intakes, risk assessments, debriefings after forensic interviews, and therapy. Students will work with children ranging from 2 years through 18 providing direct, individual therapy as well as parent training, sibling therapy and family therapy.
