What is a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT)?

This team ensures that children receive comprehensive care while minimizing the stress of navigating multiple agencies separately.

Who is Part of The Tree House MDT?

Each case is reviewed and addressed by a specialized team, which includes:

Law Enforcement

  • Investigates reports of child abuse and gathers evidence to protect the child and pursue justice.

Child Welfare Services (CWS)

  • Evaluates the child’s safety in their home and determines necessary protective actions.

Medical & Mental Health Professionals

  • Conduct forensic medical exams to assess physical health, collect medical evidence, and ensure a child’s well-being.
  • Offer trauma-informed counseling and emotional support to help children and families heal.

Prosecutors & Legal Advocates

  • Work to hold perpetrators accountable and guide families through the judicial process.

Forensic Interviewers

  • Conduct child-friendly, non-leading interviews that allow children to share their experiences in a safe, supportive environment.

Victim Advocates

  • Provide guidance and emotional support to families, ensuring they understand and access available resources.
